Make it Matter is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support inclusive special education initiatives for neurodiverse persons and empower them and their families to break through existing barriers that limit their opportunities in the educational sector.
MISSION + VISION
MIM is a non-profit organization that services daycares in the North shore with extensive integration training programs for staff and administration, curriculum development, daycare layout and designs for children with special needs.Â
Our mission is to support and provide the resources that will benefit the various needs that children have, specifically, for children with developmental delays, disabilities, atypical behaviors or social and emotional difficulties.
Early intervention better prepares children for school, however staff and educators must be adequately equipped and supported to provide special care and attention to the children who need it most.

OUR FOUNDING TEAM
The team behind the foundations of Make it Matter. Together, we make it matter. Make it Matter, founded in 2017, is run by its Executive Director, Deborah Athanasopoulos, and her founding team. The founding team is composed of Emma Mekies, Gabriella Martignetti & Brianna Del Corpo. This founding team came together as they noticed a significant need for inclusive education opportunities for neurodiverse people. They have a mission to make services easily accessible to neurodiverse people in the North Shore area of Greater Montreal.
